CERTIFICATION STANDARDS

Each profession has its own professional standards. IAPA has professional standards for certification and recertification and these standards must be met to become an IAPA Certified Activity Professional. The IAPA Certification Board hopes that you will join our ranks as a Certified Activity Professional or Activity Consultant. The IAPA Certification Board will assist you to facilitate the process of becoming certified.

WHY IAPA CERTIFICATION?

1. BECOME A "QUALIFIED PROFESSIONAL" TO HELP MEET FEDERAL LAW AND STATE REGULATIONS.
2. IAPA CERTIFICATION SIGNIFIES TO ADMINISTRATORS AND SURVEYORS THAT YOU HAVE MET THE PROFESSIONAL STANDARDS TO BECOME CERTIFIED.
3. MANY ADMINISTRATORS WILL ONLY HIRE ACTIVITY PROFESSIONALS WHO ARE ALREADY CERTIFIED.
4. SOME ADMINISTRATORS OFFER A HIGHER SALARY TO A CERTIFIED ACTIVITY PROFESSIONAL.
5. CERTIFICATION PUTS YOU A "STEP ABOVE" OTHER APPLICANTS.
